The Mavericks - Round Dance Club
The Mavericks are a round dance club. They normally meet on the 2nd Friday of the month from 7-9pm. Due to Dave's cueing dates for other clubs, occasionally the monthly date may change so call or check the South Coast Council website for details on schedule changes.

Mavericks Club History
The Mavericks Dance Club was established in 2011. Originally based in Crook County Oregon as a Round Dance Club organized to give students of Dave Cooper's classes a venue for regularly dancing to Dave's cueing. After relocating to the Southern Oregon Coast in the Summer of 2016 Dave and Patty expanded the membership base to include dancers from all over the state. Still primarily a round dance club (phase 2-4) but with occasional square dance tips thrown in to the evening's program
Dave Cooper Bio
Dave started dancing in 1994 and began cueing in 1996. He has attended Beaver State Cuers College where he learned to cue from Ray and Virginia Walz. He has cued dances and Festivals around Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. He has served twice as President of the Oregon Federation of Square and Round Dance Clubs and is currently serving as 2nd Vice President. In September 2016 he and his wife Patty were appointed as Oregon Goodwill Ambassadors by Oregon Federation President Kay Rogers.
Dave enjoys teaching and choreography. He's had two cue sheets selected to receive Oregon's Round of The Month Award.
